Mine is doing the same. Can't use speaker phone. There's been already 5 updates and no fix it's February 25 2017 now. I think they just want us to update. This phone was great and they had to mess it up....

A hard reset will not roll back the firmware version.

I have had trouble with people hearing me from the time I purchased the phone. Sometimed it works but most of the time it doesn't. Verizon has never been able to explan why this happens.
Now Galaxy S5 no longer supports sending gifs in texts. I also believe they are trying to get people to upgrade. Not everyone wants an IPhone.

Nobody is purposely breaking your phone to try to get you to upgrade and Samsung develops the firmware, so they're certainly not trying to push you into an iPhone.

My S5 is doing the same thing. I hear everyone plain and clear but the either can't hear me at all and they hang up or at times they can hear me but I'm really weak.
