Ok, I had upgraded my S III to 4.3 and after that my battery would not last more than 4 hours on a charge. Finally, on the web I found the fix. Do not use the OS email apps for regular email or especially Gmail. Uninstall those apps and down load a third party app like Aqua Email. I did that yesterday and now my battery lasts days. Verizon had me do a factory reset that was absolutely no help.
Hi Dan. I tried your suggestion, but I'm confused about the email issue. I keep getting a message saying I need a backup email. I can't access Google Play without one. I'm not very bright when it comes to electronics. Thanks.
