Why won't my device start up completely?

Member

Galaxy Note 2 will not fully start up. It gets hung on the Verizon screen and wont move past.

Tried to remove battery, SIM card, reset cache.

Is there anything I can without having to perform a factory reset?

Do I lose all photos, contacts, apps with the a factory reset?

Can I back up photos using the USB port before resetting?

We certainly want to be sure we get your phone up and running dobeyowner. Do you currently use our Verizon Cloud to back up your phone? You can check that here: http://vz.to/1NYqEkj The next step will be a factory reset and that will erase the phone. If you have it backed up to our cloud you won't lose anything.
