Why does my email password change automatically on my AOL account? I enter the correct one and it auto changes

I enter my password and attempt to download current email and nothing happens. When I go back to check password it shows dots all the way across the window.I havw used the phone for nearly a year and suddenly this happens. I have a Galaxy Note 2
