Why can't I clear my cache?

I had an update hit this past weekend.   After the update, going to setting->applications->application manager->app does not give the option to "clear data" or "clear cache".   The only options available now are "force stop" and "uninstall".

Has anyone found a work-around for this?  This is kinda [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] ....

Samsung Galaxy NOTE 5, Android 6.0.1

See below those 2 options for STORAGE.  Tap that and you can clear data.

i recommend & did wipe partition cache after the big update.
