I have not been able to use the service I pay for for over 2 months now... When is verizon going to step up

If you can't use your service, call Verizon and ask them to put your line on suspension with reduced billing. You can have this for up to 90 days per year. Reduced rate billing is $10. Alternatively, get a used phone or an old phone from family or friends to use until you get a new phone to replace the recalled Note 7.
