These countless objections and rebuttals is the precise reason (at least one reason) why the email option went away.

Pherson:  Are you working for verizon?? are you trolling? Did you even read the initial post?

Because if you did, you have first have had to acknowledge that some people are currently loosing money in the process.  That also verizon is not complying with the terms of recall  by samsung and explicitly referred to by verizon itself.  Again, an exchange process and a return and buy process are NOT the same process, and verizon is certainly not implementing it like one. They could.  So far they have chosen not to and failed to appropriately answer or address the countless cases of people loosing money because of how they implemented the process.  And this has nothing to do with "utter lack of comprehension of that electric devices can fail".

You can tell when a person has the vzw in their signature. I am a card carrying customer who simply knows how to read press releases and how things work. And that what you may think Verizon is doing is your own flawed interpretation. Its already been written in black and white.

"Contact the FCC, and local BBB File a complaint. I can also give you a few attorneys that you can consult as well."

Tieshia, did you get anywhere with advise from attorney, I am seriously wondering how the return process is not violating lemon laws, which would be a samsung + verizon issue.  Did you get any info/angle on that?

"Well lemon laws do not cover cell phones so that argument won't work, especially since it's a new device that are offering a full refund of what you paid. Any other angles you wish to discuss?"

Are you a lawyer? Did you read all the lemon laws for all states? If not, get off your high horse again, because the generic definition of lemon laws covers consumer goods, not just cars.  It applies to manufacturer, in that case samsung, not providers as in Verizon. the fact that recall is possibly handled improperly in conjunction with a 3rd party is an issue for attorneys, not trolls.

It only covers consumer goods that are considered a certain weight limit or a consumer good that has a warranty like a new car. The Samsung is a cell phone which falls under a recreational device and is thereby not COVERED.

Anyone can google this information or visit a local library to get a definition of what a lemon law really is, or what it will or not cover.

Just wanted to point out something...

The BBB is basically worthless.  They have absolutely zero power and zero authority and certainly no legal muscle.  Nothing they do or say is legally binding.  They're a prehistoric behemoth that should have been extinct 2 decades ago.  They're effectively your grandmother's version of Yelp and she's really the only person who actually uses them anymore.  Any business that pays them enough money can get any complaints scrubbed and any disputes removed.

You're wasting your time bothering with them.

This post is hilarious.

Can't make a good argument - bring up spell check

Lemon laws - Really??? What's up with that. I don't think so, You are getting the money you put into the phone back. So even if this had anything to do with Lemon Laws, and it doesn't, that would be the solution.

All Verizon needs to do with the recall is return the money you put into the Note 7. Not the money you used to payoff half your previous phone, and not the money to buy a new phone.

Use an old phone you have, or borrow someone's, or buy a used one until the phone you want, with the rebates you want comes out. No one seems to like the S7 or S7 Edge, so don't get it. Live with an older model for a bit. Trust me, life will go on with an older smartphone. Then in a few months, the phone of your dreams comes out and you can get that.
