They have not refused to give a full refund. That is listed specifically in their and other carriers press releases. However you could front the bill and go to small claims court or arbitration. The FCC stopped class action lawsuits against wireless carriers, for various reasons.

Unfortunately this first world country has become so sue happy that someone could just merely whisper the word "boo" and the person is in meetings with a lawyer the next day.

I'm interested to see where this will go. I can't say I have ever heard anyone being successful in a court with VZW.

And to think that one person will bring down the superior carrier who has over 140 million subscribers.... Bring. It. On.

You have yet to provide any substance. Explain to me how a company can sell a defective product that is recalled, and then refuse to give the purchasers a full refund. How is this not grounds to be sued? Do you understand the concept of indemnification? Verizon tried to withhold $375 from me, which I successfully got refunded. However, there are tens of thousands of people who did not get a full refund.

Bring down? No one person is going to bring down Verizon. However Verizon has opened themselves please to a class action lawsuit by refusing to give their customers who purchased Note 7s full refunds.

You can't open yourself up to something that doesn't exist.

You offer no substance. You're either trolling, or really do not understand basic law and business principles. I'll assume the latter.

This is very simple. Verizon sells hundreds of thousands of people a dangerous, defective product, and then refuses to give those customers a full refund. Very simple.

lol. Refuses? Nah. Samsung is to blame, Verizon Wireless is the man in the middle. Samsung sells the phone to VZW, and VZW sells the phone to you. No one ever predicted something like this happening. You are trying to take advantage of the situation and you will lose.

They didn't refuse anything. Obviously you want to argue and belittle my years as a forum contributor, which is in poor taste. Why not show an iota of respect? All of you Note 7 users wanted a complete resolution the day before anything was said about a resolution thinking you were special because you have a note. It takes time for things to be sorted out, but your comments regarding others contributions are rude. At the end of the day it's just a phone. That's it. Not a car, not a big screen tv. A phone.

No individual sales agreement supercedes the law. If Verizon is found to have knowingly and intentionally defrauded their customers, those sales agreements are worthless.
