Sscreen jumping to search page

Samsung Note 3 - yesterday my screen has started jumping to the search screen.  It will not stay on home screen.  To access icons, I have to touch icon quickly and hold my finger on the screen.  What would cause this??

I want to make sure that your screen doesn't jump davisbillpam! I know it can be difficult to maneuver on your phone. How long has this been happening? If you reboot your phone do you have the same issue all the time? If you put on safe mode http://spr.ly/6587CjlL does the issue still occur?
