Screen Freezing

Member

I have had the Note 3 for a week and I am constantly "stuck" with a frozen or non responsive screen.  It could take seconds or up to a minute to start responding again.  I do not see any other comments here on this topic and I need to decide if I take the unit back or is there a fix.  Anyone having similar issues and if so how did they correct?

Thanks.

That is definitely something uncommon for such an awesome device, Acenothing. Before trying a complete reset http://vz.to/15V14sI or returning your phone http://bit.ly/IeiJI to where it was purchased, try placing your phone into Safe Mode http://vz.to/H8XmmU and seeing if the freezing continues while in Safe Mode. If the phone runs smooth while in Safe Mode, there's most likely an application that was installed in the first few days that's causing the trouble. If that's the case, you can try to just uninstall single applications http://vz.to/171mhlN instead of the full out reset. We are here to help find a way for you to get all the enjoyment of that fantastic phone.

If you had the freezing screen problem from day one then return it, as its probably a malfunction of the phone vs. rogue software apps.  You could try a factory reset, still getting the problems?  then time for a exchange.
