This has to be a joke. I hope it's a joke. I was without fail going to be purchasing this device from Verizon for my mom's birthday. I just opened an article on Gizmodo.com that I couldn't believe.
Verizon you have done something truly atrocious here. Why? Why would you take from the face value of a device with your hideous logo plastered on the HOME button! Never before have you been so bold as to ruin a device with your logo. This is truly the equivalent of someone getting a face tattoo. This will prove once and for all that you CANNOT do anything you want. You will lose potential locked in buyers for this device because of this! Think before you act! This is beyond words. I hope for your sales sake you do not release the Galaxy Note II with a Verizon branded HOME button!! U-G-L-Y.

Really? They've been putting their logo on the front every phone they can. Just look at the Rzr family. The S3 does not have it because there is no space for it (and the home button is too small, lol). What would be so different about the note? If you don't agree with it, buy it from a non-carrier source.

The Verizon logo on the front of my Droid X is WAAAAY bigger than the home button branding, this is not so bad and will not stop me from getting the Note 2. I just want 32GB in black!

I'm looking at my Razr Maxx from Verizon. Gee! It has the Verizon name and logo right in front. Pick up any AT&T phone...guess what...they have their logo on all their phones. I am fairly sure that Sprint and T-Mobile have their names on their phones as well. If this is the only thing "wrong" with the Galaxy II Note, you don't have too much to complain about.

Don't worry, you can buy a home button cover plate to hide it.

Actually it's kind of helpful so you know what carrier it will actually work on.

Just use a penny or a sugar cube with a touch of water. Problem solved... Sugar way works better(may take longer than the penny), but it ensures no scratches.
