MANY phones can use a stylus, not just one where the pen clicks into the phone body.
"...which I did not have the money for..."
Even the old LG G2/3/4/5 can use a stylus.

Sorry, but I refuse to return my Note 7. I've had several strokes & need the S Pen in order to use ANY phone.

I know that, I have SOOOOOOO MANY, rubber tipped styluses it's not funny. Unfortunately, the S Pen holds steady & is much more precise for use, than rubber tipped ones.

Doesn't the Note 5 use an S pen? Get a used Note 5 until the next S pen device comes out. It just seems you are setting yourself up for more disappointment and risk. The Note 7 will not have any support or any updates. Eventually the return offer will expire and you are left with an expensive paperweight, that could start a fire. This does not seem to be the time to dig in one's heels.

Yes, but it doesn't take an SD card. The Note 4(which I had previously) does, but unfortunately does not work correctly with the Marshmallow update.
