Funny how Verizon can get this out and we have to wait on the Note 2

I would like to have someone from the inside of Verizon explain what goes into the decision process of when to release phones.Verizon could have a previous commitment to HTC, they could be trying to pump up HTC in order to keep the environment more competitive since Samsung has such momentum now. I also wonder if they look at how many contracts are expiring at a certain time so the phone they are promoting during that period will have more potential customers.Just throwing out ideas here--none of which are probably valid.

I would say it would be more along the line that HTC has history of supplying new devices better where Samsung has a habit of releasing their devices randomly and not on a time limit... I would say that the difference is the manufacturer not the carrier.
Plus since Verizon still is one of the only carriers that the device is largely 4G compatible, some manufactures are experiencing issues with support for the 4G network.
This is my guess of the situation

There is a cool app from Samsung in the Play Store called Galaxy Note II User's Digest. I found it to be a lot of fun and interesting.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.co.samsung.note_2&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGws...

You know the date, and with the features that you don't have to wait for an update to get... It'll be worth the wait.

Droid DNA officially announced this morning. Pre-sales begin today, and it will be on the shelves November 21 (the day before Thanksgiving). Let the speculation begin as to whether or not the reason the Note 2 has been delayed to allow this device to launch first, or if the Note 2 will launch earlier than the 27th to compete with this device.. annnnd go!

Ok. SO. How evil would I be to go ahead and cancel my Note 2 pre-order and buy the DNA to use until the Note 2 came out? I'd really like to have a new phone during the holiday.
We have 14, days, right? In the end, would it work out? I'm seriously contemplating this.
