The issue is that some on here, myself included, pre-ordered upon the initial release, not realizing that the wait would be this long.  I personally didn't expect the shipment date for pre-orders to be so far behind every other carrier....that is my frustration, as im sure it is the same of others.  There has been no OFFICIAL release date as far as I know for G Note 2 on Verizon.

Thanks for this lolaprei. This is a much better link. The result from here says "We received your order and it is in process." In the result area it has a place for "Expected ship date, tracking no and courier" and those fields are all blank.

I have no idea how you, or others, could feel this way? BEFORE the pre-orders were up on the Verizon website, it was made quite clear that we probably wouldn't see them until the end of November.  When I ordered mine, early morning of October 25th, it said expected ship date 11/27.  So I am not surprised I still have to wait; I don't like it, but I fully expected it, why wouldn't you? When you pre-ordered, what ship date did you received?

I was never given a ship date, in either my confirmation email or order tracking.

right from the start the Verizon website has said 27th-29th.

I don't know what you people were looking at but it was right there in front of you to see.

Seriously dude calm down. Perhaps you're aware but sometimes when phone

companies say "BY" something they ship sooner than that. Somebody pointed

this out earlier if you care to go back and look.

In fact, I had a friend who had that happen the last time they preordered an iPhone. Plus, if

you follow any of the mobile sites they have stories about the early

preorderers shipments arriving sooner than the posted date.

And, for the most part it always said BY november 27th, but there

have been days where the date showed as something sooner. Also, many of us

have had Vzw reps say it could ship sooner. Either way I'm fine as long as I

receive out BY the 27th.

And by "additional delay" I thought he/she meant that they hope Verizon doesn't move the date back like to sometime in December. But that could just be my interpretation. I'll leave it up to them to clarify.

The issue is that Verizon is the LAST to get it, by nearly a month. Not

oly is that unfair to its customers, regardless of whether they'd said

it would ship from that date to begin with, but it's bad business

practices, and they're losing revenue and customers because of it. Not

only those that have left or decided to buy elsewhere, over the last

month, but choosing to release it /after/ black friday, is a huge lose

of potential revenue.

Plain and simple it's unfair to their loyal customers who do stay (for

whatever reason they choose to), and it's extremely bad marketing and

business practices.
