I did a live chat last night to check on the status on my fireproof box. The rep said the order for the box wasn't able to go through last week due to a discrepancy with my address (the edge 7 was shipped to my son in college which is where I want the box shipped to). Anyway I straightened it out and the rep gave me a reference # and supposedly the box should be received within 5 days. Hopefully the info was correct!

Customer safety is our top priority and I'm glad you returned your Note 7. The special box was sent an a precautionary measure to protect the device during shipping. However, you will systematically be refunded for the Note 7 and Note 7 specific accessories.

So I "upgraded" to a phone yesterday. I already hate it. I wasn't able to get my 1st choice because they are back ordered until November. I showed this whole thread to the salesman. He said to order the one I want after I buy the [Removed] that I walked out with.  Not to mention a $35 restocking fee.  What the heck (for lack of a better word). If I'm hit with double charges, then restocking  I'm done. Cancelled. This "upgrade" is awful.

That isn't right. 

There is not supposed to be any extra fees involved

5 hours and no response from anyone. Not even a pm. Can anyone from VZW tell me how to get the phone that is back ordered, ordered? At this point, I'm ready to eat the $35 restocking fee and live phone less. Just take me back to the early 90's. if I'm not home, I guess we aren't communicating. This aggregation isn't worth paying for.

I've been waiting for my box for approximately 3 weeks or more.. they still took my 300 bucks downpayment and won't return it until they get the phone..  I'm about to talk to my credit card company and have htem fight verizon for my money.. i am not getting a new phone.. but i was going to, but I refuse to put ANOTHER downpayment on a phone when you're still holding on to my old one.. terrible.

If I knew it would take this long to get the box I would have just kept the note as my primary phone until the box got in.. I have a perfectly fine phone sitting on my desk being used as a paperweight.. sorry for the rant, but VZW needs to get thier act togehter on this one.  I've been a loyal customer for over 13 years.. this is by far my worst experience yet.
