Like many others, I was experiencing greatly reduced battery life following the update. "Google Services" was consuming a massive amount of battery time and power. I think I've reversed this, or at least slowed it down, by simply unchecking "Google Wi-Fi and mobile network location" in the Location Services settings. Leaving "GPS and Verizon location services" checked. Would like to know if anyone else has tried this and found it helpful.
