You are incorrect. I pre-ordered the note 7. There was NO upgrade fee. Verizon started the upgrade fee at later time. I believe with the release of the iPhone 7 is when they implemented the new fee.

I agree. I was NOT charged an upgrade fee for Note 7. It is unacceptable we are forced to pay an upgrade fee for a forced downgrade.

I did not pay an upgrade fee for the Note 7. I understand taxes have to be paid, but Verizon could issue immediate refund of the difference as the sales tax was more for the Note 7 than the replacement I am getting. So I am paying taxes twice, but Verizon states that I will get refunded the taxes for the Note 7. They are making this too painful for their customers.

RonPhone123, we definitely understand where you're coming from. This has been a frustrating recall for everyone. When you upgrade from this point, it is being handled as a regular upgrade. Then we are refunding all costs associated with the Note 7 purchase once the return has been handled. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

I was directed from a retailer to go to the corporate store in Cambridge Ma because the retailer didn't have any s7e. So I went corporate store and they refused to take the phone stating returns are done via online only and I should have been told this. I told them I've been told by two different reps online and I was directed by retailer that I could go to the store but they didn't' care that was a rep and a manager refusing to take this thing back.

So you're charging customers to be able to get rid of a phone that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission has deemed as dangerous? And how will this payment of faxes be refunded? Let me guess: as a bill credit. What about the people that can't afford up front fees? I'll tell you. They're stuck with a dangerous phone. I've already emailed the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to let them know about how difficult Verizon is making this. Verizon should be ashamed that they are leaving these phones in people's hands until they pay taxes. Friggin ridiculous.
