Granted this is almost a month old but I couldn't find any more recent updates. For anyone still holding out returning the Note 7, Samsung reports 97% of the phones from the US have been returned but 3% still remain out and about. By now, anyone with a Note 7 probably has downloaded the "bricking" update that won't allow the phone to charge once the battery has been depleted and CNet posted this update on the recall status.
