After updating my note 5 to marshmallow I can't connect to my house wifi, it will connect then a couple of seconds later it will disconnect. How can I fix this problem?
Pending a fix that can come none too soon, two potential options:
1) try turning off bluetooth
2) if your router is 5G capable, and you can configure it to broadcast your 2.4 and 5Ghz as separate SSIDs, then you might be able to connect to the 5Ghz wifi. This is what worked for me.
Any ideas on when this additional fix will happen? My Note 5 was running perfectly until this update. I've removed apps, disabled apps, forced stopped apps, reset my modem 3 times, restarted my phone, turned Bluetooth off, and turned the power save off. I am hesitant at reseting my phone to factory settings. If there is another fix, I will hold out on resetting my phone. There is no way with this many people reporting issues that it is not something within the update...
It has been released, go into settings and have phone search for system update.
I was afraid that was the case...this marshmallow update is what started my issues.
