How can I fix my Note 2 since last weeks update? I am not willing to wipe out all my data, can anyone help?

My phone will no longer stay connected to the internet at home. If I can get on wifi when I am out, I am kicked out within a few minutes. I have never had this problem until the latest update.
If I am texting, the phone is really slow to respond or the slightest movement, my text is sent even though I have not hit the send key.
I went to Verizon store yesterday and they put in a new sim card and said the problem was solved, it was, while I was in the store. Within one hour of being home, it was back the way it was.
Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry to state the obvious but I would go back to the Verizon store. If you can recreate the same or on let at the store it's clear u need a replacement phone.
