My advanced video calling feature is disabled

I tried resetting the sim card and factory resetting my phone but it still will not work. Voice works fine, but I am unable to enable to video option, its grayed out. Please advise?

At the time the HD voice was working but video was never available. The account holder had to get involved and had the software reset and push the video update to my phone. The settings were off, but it is now fixed

Have you checked your Verizon account settings and make sure it is enabled for you device?

Manage My Products & Apps, Free Products, near the bottom of the list should be Advanced Calling.

I do not see this option. Could be because I'm not the account manager but just a member. Could that be it?

I would imagine that if you are not account manager you probably don't have access to it.

Bballrob79, I can see that you are anxious to use this new feature and will be glad to get you on your way. While these features do need to be added through the account owner or manager lines or by the account owner reaching out to us, once added, you will simply follow these steps within your phone:

1. Go to the Apps

2. Tap Settings

3. Select Advanced Calling

4. Slide Advanced Calling to on


Also, to use Advanced Calling you will want to ensure that you are seeing a 4G signal on the top of your phone.

We never want you disappointed. I always get eager to use new features with my service. Let's continue on the road to resolution. We will get this fixed. Are you picking up 4G when you try using advanced video calling? Does regular voice calling work ok?

The voice feature does work. Yes, I am on 4G and WiFi on a regular basis but no video calling available. The option is there but grayed out every time.

Is the device you are calling also setup for Advanced Calling?  Does the HD icon show up in the upper right corner of the dialer when you make the call? Both ends of the call will have to be HD for it to work.

Verizon reset the software and pushed the update to my phone. Thanks for all the feedback Smiley Happy
