My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will halt for no reason. At other times it will restart on its own for no reason.

For some reason, within the last few days, my telephone will halt for a few seconds.  At other times, it will restart on its own.

I do not know what is causing this and it is becoming a really big pain.

I have done a reset but it will not let me restore each application one at a time.

Anyone else having this problem?

Anyone can help me resolve this?

I would be concerned too if this were happening to my device. When did this concern first begin? Were there any updates or new applications installed at this time?

it could be a malfunctioning application, if you restart the phone in safe mode by holding the power button home button and volume up, and select safe mode, this will be able to tell whether an application is to blame.
