I also have the same problem with KitKat upgrade. I cannot text receive or send email, I have an Android Galaxy Note II and it worked perfectly until the upgrade. I use this phone for business and a non working phone is of no use I need some type of corrective action to take and I cant wait months for Verizon to get there as I have to pay cell phone bills for a phone I cannot use. Please advise.

Have you been able to remove the e-mail account from the phone and add it back on? http://vz.to/1q1JU91 Are you getting any kind of errors that come up on the phone? Are you using the normal text message application on the phone or are you using a 3rd party application from the Google Play Store. Please keep us posted.
