I want to make sure that is a easy process with no frustrations Carol. I do apologize if this is not the case. Were you able to return your Note 7 yet? You can easily follow this Samsung Galaxy Note7 Recall Exchange FAQs | Verizon Wireless  process to get started.

A Verizon Rep on the phone transferred me to the Samsung number to request the recovery boxes since none have arrived yet. We bought and activated three new devices and now have three Note 7's waiting to be returned. The store wouldn't take them and assured us that the boxes would be shipped from Samsung. When I spoke to a Samsung rep however, I was told that Verizon would be shipping the recovery boxes. I am now at a loss. What do I do with the Note 7's.

My account shows thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and it's stressing me out.

Predator7, your safety is our top concern. Since these devices cannot be shipped through normal chan...

Turning off the phone is all that is required to be safe.

Now how in the world can this be true the note7 that started all this (the second note7) was supposed to have been turned off but still somehow caught on fire or was that not true? There is to much bull going on here that I just don't know what to believe. and what are the special boxes  for if they are safe when they are turned off

Kathy,

I have been waiting for 2 weeks to get my Recovery box.  I saw on another post that it was supposed to take 2 weeks.  So much for that being true. When I called Verizon today for the 4th time on this issue, I was told

that none of my previous request for the box were showing on my account; I have made a total of 4 request since getting my replacement phone!

The he store or Samsung will take the phone back.  We are stuck waiting on Verizon to mail us the boxes.

Bottom line, I am beyond frustrated with the way this entire issue has been handled.  I feel Verizon doesn't really care how fast we get the boxes as it will cost them money.  If they truly wanted these phones back, boxes should have been mailed out to everyone who had a Note 7 on a Verizon account.

I just received my 2 return boxes today from Verizon. It was about 10 days after I was contacted by a rep through twitter. Hopefully this will be happening to everyone who needs to return the Note7.
