As someone in the corporate environment sees everyday, their are pictures up that say no explosive devices firearms etc. If I were your manager I would strongly encourage you to turn the device off. If you refuse, you're simply going home. For good, for violating policy, and I would make sure you could NEVER collect unemployment insurance because you put everyone at risk. That's my personal take on it. Anyone who you are around you are putting them at risk, enough said.
