Cancelled an OTA security update, how do I retrieve it

Pulled into parking lot at work yesterday.

Notification received on Galaxy Note 8 of an OTA security update , that required wi fi to install.  No wi fi in parking lot, hit cancel button.

How do I get that update back?   When I check for updates, phone says I am up to date.

Have you tried to restart the phone? Sometimes just doing that will make it pickup the update.

That was actually the first thing I did when I got inside yesterday.  No dice.

I don't know if you can do it at work but when you get home tonight and if you have a computer you could try going here and see if this will help

Being able to get the latest update is important, ghwmd1. Not to worry, as you can still get that update to complete. Here's a link with steps to locate it again: http://spr.ly/658284pG6

A verizon page opens telling me an unexpected error has occurred.

This is going to sound so stupid, so I apologize upfront... So you cancelled the initial OTA. Is there any chance your phone managed to update BEFORE you had to check it again?

I would see what version the phone reported was installed, and compare against the website:

Looks like this is the latest for your device:
