Can I switch my old Note II from Sprint over to Verizon?

I just tried to switch my device. I entered the IMEI from my old Note II from Sprint on the change device page, but it won't complete the action.  Is there something else I need to do?

walk into a Verizon store and they can insert a SIM card that'll fit. that's the only way to find out for sure.
