While Ubuntu Touch was a huge idea a couple years back and fell short of it's start up money needed, but now it's coming to Europe. Samsung announced it Tizen OS as well, but is being touted as a failure from the boot. Obviously, we won't see these here anytime soon in the states, if at all, but it begs the question of "How many OSs do we need in the marketplace versus fixing the OSs we currently have?" Plus, what might this mean for Samsung and Android if Samsung is going rogue, so to speak? There are a lot of new OSs and phones, and manufacturers coming out of Asia. One may wonder how that may influence US phone designs.
