Why won't My Verizon verify me as an account manager?

I sent a request to the account owner to verify me as a manager on the account so I would be able to change my number.  I watched the owner log into his account and verify my request. 
However, it has been hours and no email nor text has been sent to me telling me that I have been upgraded to manager status.


Could somebody please explain to me what the problem is?

Hello BryanCBaug, let's solve this mystery together! After the request was accepted by the account owner, were you able to login to view if your status was changed online? Check here for all steps to make sure request was accepted: http://vz.to/1bwoFPT It will show the status towards the upper center portion of the screen. Also, refresh the browser to make sure the changes take effect.
