Why was my phone suspended?

Hello, I had just got my phone early last month and had activated my account and everything. I had gotten a letter saying that I haven’t used my activated line when I had. I tried to call the customer service number listed and it would not take my information. It continued to say that it was incorrect and when I tried a different CS number, an automated call said I could not connect. What is going on?!!

Was this for a prepaid or postpaid account? How did you purchase the phone? Was it at a store or online? Did you port the number from another carrier or get a new number from Verizon Wireless?
