Why does my device have the wrong IMEI number?

My IMEI number is not showing correct with in my Verizon Wireless account.  Spoke with Tier 2 support last week.  They told me it would be fixed or resolved within 24 - 48 hours.  It still is not resolved.  My PC Card is the Sierra Wireless EC7565 Lte CAT 12 Pro.  Need help resolving the issues.
