Why can't I block a number on a line?

Smhs0406, we definitely want you to be able to block numbers at your leisure. That error normally occurs when the block feature is not properly set up on the account or too many numbers are already blocked. When is the last time you blocked a number? Have you gotten a new phone since?

I do not have any numbers blocked. It will not allow me to add any.
