Why Do I Need Family Base If I Get Unlimited Data?

With the unlimited data, why do I still need to pay the $4.99 for family base (no need for data controls for now)? Family Base Question with Unlimited Data Plan

I understand your concerns with removing the FamilyBase feature off of your account, now that you’re on the New Verizon Unlimited Plan.

The RTR service trigger feature is used to send customers usage alerts. Removing the FamilyBase feature will not affect how you or other users on your account use their device.

I hope that helps.

If you no longer need Family Base, you can contact Customer Service and have it removed.  I'd imagine you also could cancel it via your My Verizon account.

Well I go to try to remove it, and it says this: (what does the RTR service

trigger for unlimited mean?) I just wasn't sure what that was so I didn't

want to mess anything up.
