Texting does not work on either phone on the account

I just switched to a new plan where texting is unlimited.

The message indicates it is a permissions problem.  The message comes up even as I attempt to send the message from the Verizon web site.

From each of the phones the thread times out and offers to try again.

I assume there is a setting that needs to be changed on the account  can you point me at the right place?

I want to make sure we get your text messages working, jepp123. Prior to switching to the new plan, did your lines have text messages? Have you had the chance to check if there are any block features on your plan? http://vz.to/1lfFarh

I went to a store and I got it sorted out.

It was a setting on my account.
