Phone installment plan terms

If my wife and I pay off both our phones that are on an installment plan, do we get to keep the phones if we decide to leave Verizon?

To address your concern, if your lines are transferred to another carrier, you wold get to keep the phones. The payment plans would close out and the remaining balance would be charged to your final bill. ScottD_VZW
