My Verizon app never finishes launching (iPhone XS, iOS, 12.4.1)

I recently switched over to Verizon. I have a pre-paid account. I've never been able to get the My Verizon app to finish launching. It spins and spins and then says it's having trouble connecting. 

I've tried:

Reinstalling the app

Rebooting

Going in and out of Airplane Mode

 Verified that every other app is able to connect to the internet fine

 

Chat support was unable to fix anything.

The version of the app is 7.3.0. It's the most up-to-date version available on the App Store.

It's a prepaid account.

BTW, I've been trying to reply to this all week. Only now did it decide to work. I put together a little collage of what a complete s h i t  s h o w it was to get to this point.

Seriously. It's my first month. I can't believe how poorly equipped the people I've talked to have been to help me fix this problem. 

But by all means, follow your b u l l s h i t script, and tell me the number I'm supposed to call, so I can talk to the next person who doesn't know which way is up...

BTW, my original problem remains. I'm going to go to a store. At least there I won't have to wait 30 seconds for a stupid bot to tell me how sorry it is for my inconvenience.

The store didn't know what to do either and was factually incorrect about what Reset Network Settings does on iOS. There's no fixing it.

Having the same problem. The black loading circle spins and spins until I’m hit with the unable to connect error. Cellular data, WiFi, deleted and reinstalled, restarted, etc.

This doesn’t seem to be an account issue; rather an issue with the My Verizon iOS APP - let’s get an app developer on this, not an account specialist.
