Live chat doesn't work. Can't make a call in this location. What now?

I need to make changes to my contract, but this awful website doesn't function as an actual customer service resource. I only see 'twitter and facebook' links, and the live chat doesn't work. Does Verizon Wireless not have an email? Am I just supposed to sit here and stare at a grey box that has no indication of any status that I am 'in line' or anything? Somebody give me a hand here.

I usually have to try this 2 ways to get a green light, sometimes I have to wait on the grey light to turn green, but usually no longer than 5 min. 

1:  Log into My Verizon and then go to Contact us and then Live Chat and choose the category.

OR:  Log Out

2:  Go to Contact Us then Live Chat, then Log In.

IDK why it works for me this way

There is no email link.
