Group text messaging not working

Quite a few of us Verizon users here at work have noticed that our text messaging apps are not working.  Some of us can send but not receive.  Some can do neither.  Most of us are using Verizon's messaging app.

Sometimes when I switch between Verizon's messaging app and other messaging apps some messages that had been sent earlier will show up but then the apps stop receiving new messages until I switch to another messaging app.  It doesn't work for all messages when I do that.

I've gone through the steps the assistant suggested and none of them resolved the problem.  Force stopping the messaging app, clearing the apps storage, restarting the phone, etc did not resolve the issue.  I also reset my network setting back to the factory defaults and that didn't fix anything.

The issue seems to have resolved itself.  Whatever was preventing my fellow Verizon users here at work from sending/receiving messages is no longer a problem.
