Family Plan Question

We currently have a family plan with 4 lines.  3 of the lines are due for an upgrade however the 4th line still has a year left. We were told that Verizon is getting rid of the 2 year contracts and that the Edge plan is going to be cheaper.  If this is so, can we transfer the phone that still has a year on it to one of the other numbers that are due for an upgrade and get 3 new phones on the Edge plan?

Ok.  Thanks for that.  If we get 3 new 2 year contracts for the 3 lines and get new phones, can we take the phone from the line that is not due for an upgrade and place it on one that is and get 3 new phones?
