By using security cameras, how much data is used, and at what rate is it used up?

It really depends on the security camera and how many security cameras. Are they feeding 24/7 or only upon demand or with motion detection?

The range is 0.5 Kbps to 5 Kbps per camera as a rough estimate.

Be advised, this can run afoul of your Verizon Wireless customer agreement on 2 points

1) This could be considered running a server as it is all upload

2) This could be considered machine to machine application

Thank you for reaching out to us. Can you provide us with some more details? What type of security camera are you trying to use? Will they be running 24/7 or just a few hours?
