I bought two new iphone 7 on 11/10/2016. I received them around 11/12/2016. I returned my two iphone 6 with the label provided by Verizon. On 12/25/2016, my bill was over $850 with charges for non-returned phones. After over an hour of chat (on Christmas day), the rep determined that the phones had been received at "the warehouse". She gave me case numbers and assured I would get credit. It has taken over ten phone calls with reps who acknowledged the return to get the credit on my bill as of 1/26/2017. I feel that I deserve additional credit my the many hours spent o the matter!
