How do I redeem the upgrade promotion available through Moto Maker?

I am looking at upgrading my basic phone to a Moto X.  I have heard about a promotion waving the $30 upgrade fee if I upgrade to a smartphone, my question is this, is this promotion available if I go through the Moto Maker website and purchase the Moto X through that?

Upgrading to the new Moto X would be a great choice for you, jskarren!

If you order this device through this indirect channel, the Upgrade Fee will apply to the order as usual.  However, if the order was placed within the promotion period, your account will be credited the amount of the Upgrade Fee and will appear on your monthly bill within 1 - 2 bill cycles of the upgrade.  Thanks!
