Every since the new software update came down on Dec. 02, 2015 my LG G4 battery time has sucked. It takes 6-8 hours to reach a full charge and I get about 21/2 hours of standby time from that. I have noticed no enhancements from this update whatsoever. I would guess that the new surveillance software is eating up all of my battery. Can I remove this update or can you fix my phone. It worked great until this so called enhancement software update. This phone and battery are only 2 months old. The battery heath monitor says the battery is fine. When I do use it I have to clear all apps otherwise they will bleed the battery dry in no time. Suggestions please

Thank you for your input on my phone problem. I ended up stopping at the
Verizon store for help. They got on the phone with a tech and discovered
that the outlook app had installed through my hotmail email rather than
being installed independently. I sent a message through the hotmail acct.
and that sent the configuration into overdrive. The tech instructed the
Verizon agent how to change it which he did and the phone has been working
great every since. Thanks again for your input.

Duckman949,
I use my phone for absolutely everything so having a battery that drains as quickly as you mentioned would be very inconvenient. When did you do the update? It can take some time for the update to “normalize” back with the phone. Are you using the original charger that came with the phone? Please share some additional details.
