Why can't my Bluetooth and WiFi be turned on at the same time?

Since the last Lollipop upgrade, my LG G3 is experiencing issues. I can no longer have Bluetooth and WiFi on at the same time and connect to WiFi. I could before. My Bluetooth LE devices also no longer want to connect with my LG G3, I have a Fitbit Flex that will only sync/connect when I force it to by shutting Bluetooth off and then turning it back on and forcing the sync, previously it synced continuously throughout the day. The other device I am having an issue with is my Mio Link heart rate monitor. Again, it would automatically connect to my phone whenever I opened MapMyFitness or the Mio Go app. Now I cannot get it to connect at all and the phone, when searching for it, does not even find it. How can I get this fixed? These features worked PERFECTLY prior to Verizon's latest update and now, nothing. I really need to get this working because I am scheduled to run a quarter marathon in just a couple of weeks and need my data to help with my training.

That fixed it.
