Ranting abt sending video/pix

I just want to say I like my G3 but I absolutely hate the fact I cannot send any pixs or videos from the fone whether via text or email. Keep receiving message it's too big to send no matter how small I set the resolution. This is suppose to be a smartphone, it's not acting like it. I have pixs & videos I want to send & can't!  I'm so angry with that. Unless I see the person with the fone, no1 will ever see the video or pix.. I'm just sooo ticked. Fix it LG! Rant ovr

I know my LG will send pics just fine, but as far as videos go, those are hard to send unless you create the message and then attach a video there by selecting record video.  That way creates a smaller file that can be sent.  Also, are you trying to send multiple pics in one message or one at the time?

I was able to send pixs via text but now I can't. I've tried sending multiple pixs as well as one. Its frustrating especially with the video. Didn't realize that was something I should of looked for when I was searching for a new phone and purchased this one that doesn't.

The files must be less than 1 MB.  Are you sure you didn't change any settings and that's why they can't be compressed to be smaller than 1MB?

I tried to cut and paste some info that may help. It looks like it didn't work. But you'll still be able to dig deeper since it concerns the G3 and maybe find a solution.

I don't understand the G3's issues.  I, on a G2, can send video up to 60 sec in 320x240 and I can send a voice recording of up to 11 min in .amr format.  Yes, both are very low quality and the longer the file the less quality you get via compression, but thing is I can send both types from WITHIN the text app.  If I want to attach a file and create it then... instead of selecting a pre-recorded file which is in full quality, I can.  Now, sending a pre-recorded file will not send due to full quality size.

In other words, create the file from the message attachment screen.  It's next to impossible to send a pre-made file.
