My LG G3 suddenly started flickering and going black, I had the LCD screen replaced but it is still doing it.

My LG G3 suddenly started flickering and going black, then it went totally black.  I had the LCD screen replaced and picked it up last night and it is still going black.  I've had the phone about 15 months.  There was no physical damage to the phone and it was not dropped.  What could cause this besides the LCD screen?

I know that if I cover the sensor on the top left of the G3's screen (next to the camera) the screen will not light up.  If you are not covering the sensor with a finger while trying to turn it on, it's possible this sensor could be bad.

Dreaming63, we will bring light to this screen. I would first suggest seeing if this happens when you wave your hand over the screen like RushFan2112 suggested. If this is not what is affecting it, we need to understand a couple of things. Why did you replace the screen? Was it damaged or craked? Where were the repairs done? I would suggest taking it back to the ones that replaced the screen.

There was no damage to the screen it just started going black back in February so my husband carried it to iRepair and they said the LCD needed to be replaced.  I got it back 2 weeks ago and it started going black the next day so I carried it back and I just got it back last night and it is still going black so I wondered if there could be another issue causing it to go black.  I wondered if I should just take it back to Verizon and have it checked?

Dreamin63-

I know I would be as concerned as you about my screen not working properly. We are able to check on the warranty as long as it has not been repaired as it voids the warranty unfortunately. I would suggest taking the phone to the same place where you got it replaced to see if they have some type of warranty to cover for your phone. Please also know if your line has insurance, you may open a claim at www.phoneclaim.com/verizon
