Ever since I updated to lollipop on my G3, hangouts wont' ring or acknowledge incoming calls or sms if I am connected to wifi. They will still barely work with just an lte connection. Seems to be some latency with the LTE.
This is a known issue since it's been a bug in all of the test builds they have pushed out. All google services lose automatic syncing capability on wifi.
