Text Message Notification!!

My cell's text message notification has been up for 2 days now and won't go off. i have cleared out all text messages and even turn off nd restarted my phone. Still says two text messages but there's no messages!

Hi nikkerz,

This is very strange! Are you using a 3rd party text message application (i.e. Handcent, GO SMS, etc.)? If so, please delete the 3rd party application and then power your phone off and on to reset. If you are using the native text message application please run in Safe Mode http://bit.ly/HCbWjj and test. If issue stops in Safe Mode your phone has 3rd party application conflict and the bad application must be identified and removed. Keep us posted.
