My LG Revolution is convinced that it has headphones plugged in - the little headphone icon is displaying. If I plug in headphones, I hear sound, but otherwise, I don't. Plugging in and removing headphones doesn't fix the problem, nor does turning off the phone, removing the battery, then putting the battery back in and turning the phone back on.
Any idea how I can convince the phone that there are no headphones plugged in?
Check and make sure there isnt any thing in the port, this is a common issue and usually a user learns that something has fell into the port from being carried in the pocket or coat... Users has reported resolving the issue with clearing the port by blowing into the port and then pluggin in the headset and then slowly remove the headset.
Try this... Hope it helps.
I agree with Wildman you can take a Small but power full Flashlight an look in the Port to see if there is something in there and take Tooth Pick an being careful with it. Use it to get it Out..b33
