KitKat update killing battery

You don't have a choice as to whether you accept these CORUPT-DATES! You will be tormented continuously until inadvertently accept it then your phone will be doomed as it is right now!

I found a few issues that helped me:

1. The phone was not only loosing battery bet also getting real hot. As soon as I disabled Wifi and rebooted the phone both issues were resolved.
2. I received warnings that Google Play services has stopped. Once I uninstalled Swiftkey that went away...
